Just another quick month-in-review and goal setting sesh for the new month. Just like that, October’s come and gone and November’s fully underway! October was full of all things fall like pumpkin picking, pumpkin painting, party planning, family hikes, and other outdoor Indian summer goodness. After an unseasonably cool summer, we’ve been loving an unusually warm fall so far!
I also read and reviewed my new favorite book! We started recording some video tutorials for the blog and hoping to do many more in the future! October shaped up to be a pretty exciting time blog-wise. I was offered a permanent contributor spot at The Huffington Post. Whattt?! Never in a million years would I have seen that coming, but I’m hopeful this is the beginning of a beautiful new friendship with the Huff Po! Also? If that could happen to me, I promise it could happen for you too. God’s just great and mysterious like that 😉
You can check out today’s Huff Po article here! What do you have to celebrate and/or be grateful for lately? Though we all have something to be thankful for at any given time, it’s not always easy to see it right away. That’s why I’m looking forward to our community gratitude challenge on the She Lives Free facebook page every Thursday in November! We will support and encourage each other to count our blessings. It will be equal parts accountability and gratitude themed giveaways! See you this Thursday! Be there or be square 🙂
Goals for this month include the following:
1) Rocking our facebook gratitude challenge
2) Super rocking the gratitude challenge we’ve started in our home this month. Teaching the kids to intentionally put on their thankful perspectacles already seems to be making a difference in both of their attitudes. So my goal is to continue being intentional about this nightly practice all month long, so we can model an attitude of gratitude to our kids.
3) Work the guest posts this month. You’ll be seeing more from me on Huff Po, the Well Studio, and the Stay Married blog this month 🙂 Bring it!
What are your hopes for the month of November? Would love to hear about it in the comments!
